We’re on the hunt for a visionary Subject Matter Expert to help cultivate the next generation of Farm Financial Management with Blockchain!
We are seeking an experienced agricultural finance professional to serve as a Program Evaluator for our Certification in Farm Financial Management with Blockchain program. This role is crucial in assessing and enhancing our curriculum that integrates traditional farm financial management practices with blockchain applications, while ensuring compliance with Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in agricultural finance, a solid understanding of farm management, and familiarity with PTIB requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the Farm Financial Management with Blockchain certification program curriculum to ensure it meets industry standards, practical agricultural needs, and PTIB requirements.
  • Assess the balance between core farm financial management content and blockchain applications in the program.
  • Review course materials for relevance to current agricultural finance practices, farm budgeting, and emerging financial technologies in agriculture.
  • Provide recommendations for incorporating real-world agricultural financial scenarios that demonstrate practical applications of blockchain in farm management.
  • Ensure the program adequately covers sustainable farm financial practices alongside blockchain integration.
  • Collaborate with the compliance team to design and review program curriculum for Farm Financial Management certification.
  • Align course content and learning outcomes with PTIB standards and compliance requirements.
  • Provide expert insights on financial management practices specific to farming operations, including budgeting, risk management, and investment strategies.
  • Incorporate relevant modern technologies that enhance farm financial management, ensuring program deliverables are industry-relevant.
  • Attend a campus visit to discuss project requirements, provide feedback, and finalize deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Farm Management, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in farm financial management or agricultural consulting.
  • Familiarity with PTIB standards and curriculum development (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of financial challenges and opportunities specific to various agricultural sectors.
  • Experience in agricultural education, extension services, or program development is an asset.

Desired Skills and Competencies

  • Comprehensive knowledge of farm financial management, including cash flow analysis, enterprise budgeting, and agricultural lending practices.
  • Understanding of how blockchain and other financial technologies can enhance farm financial operations and decision-making
  • Ability to create practical, industry-relevant course materials that address real-world farming financial challenges.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills to meet project deadlines and ensure program quality.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with academic teams and explain complex financial concepts in an accessible manner.
