  • Associate’s Degree with 2 years of experience providing advanced level administrative support, OR a combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience with low-income populations a plus.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish a plus.
  • Proactive, thorough and detail-oriented.
  • Must be willing to use personal vehicle for job purposes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE?

  • Provide administrative support to the Northwest Campus with a high attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Assist Case Managers with coordination and provision of appropriate resources to meet individualized client needs.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with Case Managers in efforts to provide the best Client Service possible.
  • Be patient, empathetic and professional as the first point of contact with our agency.
  • Manage and answer phone calls to address client needs in a timely manner.
  • Provide clients support during the intake process by answering questions, assisting client with the application process, and bookings.
  • Possess a high level of professionalism when dealing with confidential/sensitive information.
  • Be passionate about providing the best service and experience to each client and partner.
  • Remain informed about community resources to provide external referrals as needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge of practices and issues around poverty and family self-sufficiency.
  • Manage the process for SFA/SJHCT transactions by conducting inquiries, managing external providers, and gathering invoices.
  • Must be willing to drive personal vehicle for job purposes such as gathering billing information, providing payment for approved client services, etc.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and data entry to fulfill the needs of the SFA and SJHCT grantors.
  • Submit quarterly reports to designated Fort Worth representative to satisfy grantor requirements.
  • Provide support when Northwest hosts large events and/or projects.
  • Be a team player by assisting and participating in office events.
  • Participate in staff training and development.
