Description:
Our award-winning client in Portugal is looking for a Program Manager for a long term contract. This is a hybrid role (office based in Lisbon, but can accommodate remote working)
- What we are looking for / tasks associated with the position:
We are looking for a highly organized and strategic professional to lead and manage end-to-end programs across different phases, from planning to execution, within a global scope. This role involves ensuring effective and efficient management of project scope, deadlines, costs, and quality while maintaining a focus on resolving blockages and challenges. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be adept at working in a collaborative environment, driving productivity within a complex multinational context. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining project plans, ensuring alignment between financial and execution progress, and managing communication with stakeholders through clear and assertive communication. The role also involves preparing detailed project reporting and management information to facilitate decision-making.
- Must have:
- Have led end to end programs across different phases and managed portfolios and roadmaps in large multinationals with a global scope and complex environments
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and productive environment
- Ability to critically analyze and focus on resolving blockages
- Nice to have:
- Experience with managing projects in regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Experience in leading digital transformation or technology modernization initiatives.
