DEPARTMENT SUMMARY

The Vanderbilt Executive Wellness and Concierge Medicine practice is a primary care/internal medicine practice embedded within VUMC. The practice currently has 6 board certified internal medicine physicians along with multiple subspecialists. The practice is associated with an annual membership fee for the clients and a small physician/patient ratio. Membership in this practice provides the following:
Enhanced access: We offer extended time with the doctor during appointments and convenient access to the doctor outside of appointments. We also offer same- or next-day visits with minimal wait time during the week.
Personalized care: We work closely with patients to guide their medical care in tandem with their lifestyle and wellness habits.
Coordinated care: We are happy to coordinate medical care, facilitate scheduling with medical and surgical specialists, and interface with other doctors on the patient’s behalf.
Access to specialists: As part of Vanderbilt University Medical Center, we can quickly refer the patients to top subspecialty experts for further services, as needed.
The practice works closely with an interprofessional group of nurses, patient service specialists, physical therapists, advanced nurse practitioners, and many other health professionals to provide exceptional care.
