JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business Unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.
As Program Manager for National EJ200 program you will operate in the context of services project directly reporting to the EJ200 MRO Advanced Program Manager.
You will be responsible to fulfill customer order or need accordingly to financial/commercial parameters ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will be the entry point for operations planning/execution of professional activities within the programs.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Engineering/Business Master’s degree from an accredited university or college (Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
  • Relevant Experience in Business Military and/or Program Management.
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Italian and English written and oral good knowledge
  • High Customer Oriented skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to document, plan and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
  • Ability to create consolidated and valuable collaboration network
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision, Organization and Execution of Service Projects, including scope, time, contract cost & quality management. Responsibility for project methodologies and standards including scheduling and control, to fulfill customer contracts or need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Manage, motivate and inspires the team to drive daily activities applying standard work and operating rhythm to focus on the specific priorities
  • Create and execute an integrated plan to meet Company economics/financial and contractual targets within the allocated budget, including margin expansion initiatives.
  • Deals with Internal and external supplier, tracking deliveries, customs and relevant KPI as per different contracts in place.
  • Execute activities to address customer concerns to maximize Customer satisfaction following the contract requirement: monitoring control board and induction plan; managing the national support services; leading and suggesting global supply chain deliveries to maximize results.
  • Actively identify program risks to support the Advanced Program Manager in keeping risk register updated.
  • Support the Commercial Team during all the phases of an offer, starting from the Customer’s needs through the negotiations and until the hand-over at the Kick-Off meeting
  • Support the preparation of program reviews with Customer, in accordance with the contractual and customer expectations
  • Encourages and allows improvement of procedures and standard practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.)
