Description:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our Commercial Operations team and manage large customer projects, key initiatives, and government tenders in the Defence and Public Safety industries.

As a Program Manager, you will oversee the execution of high-priority programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals. You will have an important role in securing and managing large accounts, from initial planning through to delivery, all while promoting continuous improvement in project management processes.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Lead Program Execution: Take full ownership of large customer projects, initiatives, and government tenders, ensuring seamless delivery, adherence to timelines, and alignment with business goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams—R&D, Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Finance—and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer and market needs.
  • Project Management: Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure efficiency. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Customer Advocacy: Build positive relationships with customers, acting as a knowledgeable advocate for their needs and ensuring long-term satisfaction
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously improving our processes to optimize project execution.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Have experience in a program management role or similar
  • Have experience with handling tenders.
  • Have advanced communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Be equipped with problem-solving competencies in swiftly changing environments and able to navigate large scale projects with ease.
  • Are technologically savvy, experience with PLM or CRM systems would be an added benefit.
  • Have effective time management abilities.
  • Can you assimilate new information efficiently
  • Are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Having knowledge of user segments in hearing protection or tactical communication is advantageous.

Other requirements for the role:
This role will require some travel, approximately 20 days per year. More travel days is definitely an option, but not a requirement.
