Our opportunity
The Program Manager, Governance and Compliance role will be responsible for contributing to driving operational excellence across the Asset Management platform with a focus on exceptional governance and compliance performance.
This role is accountable for the delivery on governance and compliance projects and initiatives, and managing the program for Asset Management SAPs, Budgets and Forecasts. This role is responsible and accountable for the management of the Credit Control, National Tenants Team.

Responsibilities:

Support in the coordination of internal, and external audits, and manage any action items resulting from these audits.
Provide support to Fund & Investment Analysts with tenancy schedule data queries specific to market reporting.
Adopt a continuous improvement mindset, monitor, and support Asset Management teams with tenancy schedule lease audits and obligations ensuring adherence with audit requirements and PMA obligations.
In partnership with key stakeholders, develop a process to measure externally managed Assets’ KPI’s to ensure adherence with PMA’s and audit requirements.
Maintain Asset Management governance procedure documents updating as and when required.
Manage Control Self-Assessment (CSA) testing for applicable Assets.
Manage quarterly reviews of tenant transaction postings to ensure compliance with governance processes.
Partner with Group Risk teams ensuring alignment of controls such as conflicts of interest and system access across Asset Management, Investments and Funds.
Partner with Asset Management and Group Risk teams with the ongoing management of Real Estate Licensing across Asset Management.
Support National Manager, Valuations with valuation administration tasks as and when required.
Partner with Asset Management, Finance, Investments & Funds in delivering of the SAP, Budget and Quarterly Reforecasts processes and templates.
Build internal stakeholder relationships and collaborate with these stakeholders to deliver on project requirements.
Directly manage and oversee the performance of the Credit Control, National Tenants Team.
Ensure the Credit Control, National Tenants Team are managing arrears in accordance with set KPI’s and the Arrears procedure.
Assist in the management of escalated national tenant arrears queries and issues.
Drive improvements and maximise efficiency of debt collection procedures.
Manage arrears reporting across the Asset Management Portfolio.
Demonstrate leadership behaviours and drive collaboration within Asset Management teams and broader Mirvac teams.
Your point of difference
5+ years’ experience in property, including Asset Management experience.
Extensive experience in leading and developing teams.
Relevant tertiary qualification in Real Estate, Property Economics, Commerce, or equivalent is highly desirable.
Experience with audits and governance controls.
Ability to think strategically, adapt to change, deal with ambiguity and complexity.
Work collaboratively within the Asset Management division and across Mirvac Group and share learnings with employees and leveraging their experience.
Experience with Property Management Systems is desirable.
Sound ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate solutions.
Proven ability in identifying and delivering fast-paced program requirements with strong presentation skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to achieve due dates and prioritise effectively.
Proven ability to build and maintain positive and professional relationships.
