PROGRAM MANAGER POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex software development projects and a passion for driving cross-functional initiatives to successful completion.
Responsibilities:
- Track and manage cross-functional product initiatives to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Proactively support the team by identifying and removing blockers & impediments, setting a positive example for others to follow.
- Oversee project planning and execution, ensuring projects/releases are well-defined, efficiently managed, and delivered with high quality.
- Collaborate with R&D managers to assist in release planning and prioritization of features and enhancements.
- Provide strategic direction to the team, promoting the adoption of Agile practices, standards, and methodologies.
- Elevate our project management methodologies by leveraging your expertise in Agile development practices and industry best practices.
- Ensure consistent use and implementation of Informatica’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology across all projects.
- Utilize your technical expertise to assess the technical complexity of proposed features, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Keep the management team informed on the status, roadblocks, and risks associated with programs/releases, and provide timely updates as needed.
- Define, manage, and maintain dashboards to track project progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other relevant metrics.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance your Agile knowledge, technical expertise, and contribute to the professional growth of the team.
