QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a strong background in innovation and technology. Relevant experience in defense-related projects is essential and knowledge of EU funding schemes is a strong asset. The ideal candidate should also possess financial literacy and have experience managing budgets for large-scale innovation initiatives.
Additionally, strong communication, social and leadership skills are key for this role. You will be required to manage international stakeholders and oversee complex projects.

TEAM AND ROLE

We are seeking a Program Manager with deep expertise in managing and securing grants from innovation-funded projects such as the Innovation Fund, Grand Solutions, and European Defense Fund. The individual will play a pivotal role in shaping Terma’s position in Technology Research & Innovation at both national and international levels.
You will be joining a newly established unit under the Cyber & Quantum department within R&D. This is a dynamic and innovative environment, with a strong focus on cutting-edge technology and cross-functional collaboration. This position holds strategic importance, influencing Terma’s position in the field of Technology Research & Innovation. The Program Manager will directly impact how Terma advances in national and international arenas, especially within defense and technology research.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage national and European innovation-funded projects, including those from the Innovation Fund and European Defense Fund.
• Pursue new opportunities for innovation projects, especially those related to defense, such as the European Defense Fund.
• Coordinate with various internal departments including R&D and Business Areas (BAs), ensuring smooth alignment across functions.
• Engage with a wide range of external stakeholders, including Ministries of Defense (MODs), universities, EU bodies, and other defense organizations in Europe.
• Build and maintain relationships with large, international consortiums, ensuring effective stakeholder management.
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring they meet both financial and technological objectives.
