Role details
The Strategy and Governance team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Program Manager (Internal Audit) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The Program Manager, Internal Audit will provide leadership, management and provide independent advice to the Mackay Hospital and Health Board (MHHB) and senior management, on the MHHS internal audit assurance and consulting function through examining the adequacy and effectiveness of its systems of internal control, audit, risk management and providing strategic business partnering with MHHS Executive on business process improvements
About the Team
The Internal Audit function is based within the Strategy, Governance and Engagement portfolio which comprises of various functions, including strategy, integrated planning, organisational service agreement strategy and management, organisational performance and reporting, board governance, risk and compliance, internal audit, legal, consumer and community engagement, media and communications and emergency and disaster management for the MHHS.
