Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) in Wiesbaden is looking for a

YOUR QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business administration or engineering or equivalent experience required.
  • Formal education and certification on project management skills (PMP/Prince2, PMI-ACP/PSM or LSS Black Belt) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the MedTech or Pharma or HealthCare industry with an emphasis on managing highly complex projects / programs.
  • Solid commercial focus proven by wide functional range experience in e-commerce, buildup and use of IT solutions, finance, supply chain and customer service.
  • Proven track record and solid experience as program / project manager.
  • Excellent knowledge of project management tools and software (MS Project, JIRA/TFS, Visio, Work-Breakdown tools, MS-Office incl. Teams/Onenote).
  • Excellent, proven project/program management skill required.
  • Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills. Able to understand the perspective and goals of multiple stakeholders and triangulate to find resolutions.
  • Ability to understand and explain complex processes and interdependencies, translate high-level goals into actionable plans across a wide variety of audiences.
  • Ability to lead by influence and without hierarchy in a matrix organization.
  • Strategic but at the same time pragmatic and solution oriented thinking; able to roll up the sleeves and do whatever it takes to make things successful.
  • Consensus-building - capable of utilizing strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills to successfully interact with subordinates, colleagues, and executive management.

  • The position requires the willingness to travel within Europe, Middle East & Africa and US (approx.. 10%).

Responsibilities:

  • Manages multiple large implementation (both hardware / software), process improvement, and change management projects with an impact that results in a clear business performance shift.
  • Leads multi-functional core teams across geographic locations and functional areas from the Concept through Delivery to the Launch and further regional Roll-out while ensuring proper quality of execution (scope, time, cost). Serves as the people manager to the team as well as a primary change agent to the steering / management level.
  • Develops and follow-ups on project plans to meet the business needs in line with guidelines: works closely with various disciplines within Marketing, Operations, IT, Finance, as well as QA, RA, OEC and Data privacy to establishe project plans and objectives; develops cost analysis; creates and manages the integration of project schedules and project budget; tracks the progress and communicates proactively the impact of changes (e.g. scope, cross functional resources, timelines, costs, etc.) to key stakeholders.
  • Success in this role is measured by KPIs, sales and margin goals, timelines. Thus, position holder is also accountable to resolve resource allocation issues, conflicts, and priorities to ensure the project is staffed appropriately, completed on time, and within budget constraints.
  • Acts as an owner for change management & stakeholder management plan for assigned projects: sets-up Steering Committees, aligns with stakeholders, ensures resource allocation, prepares Roll-out plans and works with country SPOCs on its implementation.
  • Follows, fully supports and further develops excellence for PMO set-up at EMEA level: contributes, promotes, develops tools & templates, prepares & conducts trainings for his colleagues, acts as a coach for team members.
