DESCRIPTION:

The Program Manager fulfills several roles:

  • As the prime contract Program Manager, be the primary point of contact for the customer, including the COR, Contracting Office, more than a dozen customer Task Leads, and Command offices such as Personnel Security and IT. Be customer-service oriented, proactive, responsive, and effective in handling all customer communications and issues.
  • As the contract team’s leader, provide vision, strategy, direction, oversight, and quality control of all team efforts, including subcontractors. Empower management, task leads, and every individual to succeed in achieving exceptional customer outcomes.
  • As a Rivet supervisor, empower your managers and their direct reports not only to be successful, but also to set the standard for professional excellence for our subcontractor partners and our competitors.
  • As a Rivet Program Manager, be responsible for the budget, hiring, training, subcontract management, invoice approvals, IT asset management, Government-reimbursed and corporate travel, office space management, and related business functions to support contract performance. Coordinate with Rivet corporate operations for support in these business functions, i.e. HR, Contracts, IT, Accounting, and the Program Management Office.

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related.
  • PMI Project Management Professional certification or DAWIA Program Management Level III
  • 8 years of experience in Program Management overseeing professional support services for a defense acquisition command, Marine Corps experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to initiate plans, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Lifting to 50 lbs.
