YOUR ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to join our Services Our Way team. As the Program Manager you will lead and manage a program responsible for providing trauma informed support for vulnerable Aboriginal people and families across NSW, responding to the need to work within established program parameters while being responsive to individual and community need.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As part of the Services Our Way team you will manage a mid-size remote working team across six distinct sites in NSW. You will take a trauma informed approach to your managing style.

You will also:

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for delivering tailored support to vulnerable Aboriginal people and families in targeted locations.
  • Develop and implement a training and development plan that ensures staff receive the necessary clinical supervision and skills development necessary to delivery best practice responses.
  • Develop and manage the program budget in partnership with the Director and SOW Place Managers.
  • Review regional practice to ensure compliance with program guidelines and ongoing identification of program risks.
  • Work with SOW Place Managers to ensure a proactive response to program risks and opportunities, including timely escalation to the Director when necessary
  • Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders and foster and develop strategic relationships with stakeholders through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the program delivery.
  • Lead within and champion an environment of continuous improvement to strengthen program capacity and coverage.
  • Support the Director to develop processes and tools that help build best practice for SOW program.
