JOB SUMMARY
Do you have a passion for social change and civic engagement? Are you adept at supporting and inspiring people to meet their potential? We are looking for a Program Manager - Partnerships and Pathways who will work 1-1 with our Public Allies to ensure their success and growth as they navigate their 10-month leadership journey with us. The Program Manager will play a key role in ensuring that our program meets national standards and all AmeriCorps requirements. In addition, they will work with the directors to develop innovative Alumni programming, leadership and placement opportunities, and support community partner engagement overall.
The Program Manager - Partnerships and Pathways is a Pittsburgh-based hybrid position and reports to the Public Allies Pittsburgh Program Director.

Experience
- Commitment to Public Allies mission and vision and the power of young people to transform communities
- Ability to model and exemplify the Public Allies values and professional and leadership qualities that the Allies are being supported to achieve
- 2+ years experience with individual coaching or counseling
- 2+ years experience in workforce development and/or career counseling
- Knowledge or experience with the nonprofit sector and economic trends in the region
- Ability to hold multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail, strong time management and project management skills
- Uses a strengths- or asset-based approach with individuals and in community
- Preference for experience in collaborative, team based work environments
- Experience and openness to working with people from diverse backgrounds
- Creative and can think on your feet and outside the box
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of Windows XP, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work some nights and weekends as needed
