Description:

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Program Manager of Revenue will join the Finance Revenue and Fares team reporting to the Director, Revenue and Fares. This position supports and aides in the formation of strategic initiatives for development, collection, and analysis of current and future revenue to achieve CapMetro’s goals and objectives. This position interfaces with senior department heads, and all other personnel as required to complete its duties. Works closely with other internal groups such as Capital Projects, Enterprise Program Management, IT, Operations and Marketing and Communications, Legal, Finance. Procurement, Real Estate, Public Safety, and Strategic Planning and Development. This role will support the business owner of the revenue, serve as a subject matter expert, aid in collection of revenue, and ensure adherence to agreements on revenue streams present and future.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of design and project management methods and practices.
  • General knowledge of integrated workplace and electronic document management systems preferred.
  • Ability to engage with team members, consultants, vendors, and contractors, proactively and collaboratively.
  • Ability to understand, develop, and manage revenue strategies and technical solutions with e xcellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively develop design guidelines, workplace standards, and technical specifications.
  • Self-motivated and focused on opportunities to continuously improve skills and processes.
  • Ability to work in a team environment in a matrix organization, partnering well with other employees, management, stakeholders, users, business personnel, vendors, service providers, and contractors.
  • Motivated to undertake strategic and tactical duties and tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to develop budgets considering proper balance of initial and life cycle costs.
  • Ability to complete financial analyses regarding simple paybacks and return on investments.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align revenue strategies with promotional activities and campaigns for revenue streams.
  • Monitor and analyze fare collection and revenue data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement across different channels and products.
  • Conduct market research and data analysis to inform revenue strategy and policy decisions.
  • Provide partnership for strategic planning of revenue collection, facilitation, and growth.
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities and grants to support revenue initiatives.
  • Develop and manage budgets for revenue-related activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability.
  • Ensure adherence and review of contracts with external groups.
  • Support and complete revenue assessments, create improvement plan, ensure implementation and cross-collaboration for adoption.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
  • Prepare accurate revenue forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Generate regular reports on revenue performance, highlighting key trends and insights.
  • Present revenue analysis and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, as required.
  • Work closely with finance, sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure cohesive revenue strategies.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive revenue growth: including innovation events, brainstorming sessions, and strategic roadmap formation.
  • Develop efficiency through process improvement and documentation.
  • Communicate revenue strategies and results effectively across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for revenue management.
  • Ensure all revenue-related activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • As needed, conduct field work and field visits to support revenue execution and to ensure compliance.
  • Support Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Safety Management Systems (SMS) process by ensuring staff follows safety and security policies, considers safety in every action, and ensures safety and security concerns are reported. `
  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned in support of the Agency’s strategic goals, mission, and objectives..
