JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a committed, driven and entrepreneurial team player who has experience in leading projects? Join our team in Malmö, Sweden. We’re committed to delivering top-notch, data-driven, user-centric solutions to create a safer and more open world.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a bachelor’s or associate degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Has substantial experience in leading projects, preferably within the consumer electronics sector.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of system engineering and can analyze complex solutions, identifying and addressing dependencies to ensure the success of the overall program.
  • Possesses strong people management, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to coach and develop team members by leading through example.
  • Communicates effectively in English; proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
  • Is energetic, ambitious, enthusiastic, and committed to excellence.
  • Is willing to travel as part of the role.

Experience working in a global organization, with the ability to collaborate across time zones and international travel experience, is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

You would lead development programs that are inherently multifaceted, encompassing hardware, firmware, applications, backend systems, and industrialization. These programs often involve products with dependencies across our broader ecosystem, requiring a holistic and integrated approach to ensure success.

You would also:

  • Ensure that programs progress smoothly, remain on schedule, and stay within scope, with deviations managed proactively to avoid surprises.
  • Identify dependencies and interdependencies, resolving or mitigating issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with geographically distributed development teams to define and secure the necessary scope of work for successful program execution.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to peers within the program management office.
