Program Manager
We are looking for an experienced professional with strong communication skills and a strong business acumen to join our team as a Program Manager for one of our European truck OEM customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting business growth while effectively managing complex programs and delivering hands-on as well as strategic PM initiatives. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable taking on multiple priorities simultaneously.
The role will be reporting to the manager PMO located in The Netherlands.

Main Purpose

  • PM is accountable for the achievement of project targets and objectives (quality, profitability, timing and risks) validated by the management.
  • Lead project in accordance with SPLP rules and principles
  • Manage the core team
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Define quality, profitability & cost targets and leads all project team members to achieve these targets with a permanent focus on cash
  • Respect timing and controls risk.

Education
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in project management or engineering with strong academic results, or equivalent background

Experience and requirements

  • Minimum 10 year work experience, knowhow and skills from working as a Program Manager and with customer relationships.
  • Solid understanding of PM discipline and processes.
  • Strong drive and focus on results.
  • Organized, structured way of working, ability to take a holistic view still with attention to details.
  • Proven people management and leadership skills, ability to lead and coach and get things done in cross-functional environments.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to instil a culture of accountability.
  • Prepare relevant data to be able to make difficult decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage tight deadlines, work under pressure.
  • Under all circumstances and in front of customers always represent SRI with professionalism
  • Ability to step into a difficult situation, perform root cause analysis and plan for way forward quickly.
  • Strong in MS Project, MS Excel, and data management.
  • Knowledge of automotive core tools such as PPAP, APQP, DFMEA’s.

Description of characteristics
Complexity
Program coordinating function focused on planning, budgeting and controlling the progress of the core members of the program. Performs job analyses and contributes to project definition secures exaction according to plan. Monitors quality and takes care of the main program scheduling and alignment.
Control capacity
Is bound by ad hoc questions and project deadlines when determining the own schedule.The supervision is indirect in the form of consultations and reports afterwards.
Risk of damage
Occasionally has external contact with suppliers about possible components, product properties and the purchase of tests in the test process. These contacts are important for monitoring quality and achieving an optimal design.
Physical Aspects
Works predominantly under office conditions. Works on a screen for a large part of the day.
