DESCRIPTION

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. We market products under several different brands and our vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities and theme parks.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead all phases of new product development projects to meet stakeholder objectives at an accelerated pace including program initiation, planning, execution, and implementation;
  • Collaboratively work to clearly define the project scope; develop the project plan to include the budget, schedule, and resource needs;
  • Drive timely completion of all project team tasks to include engineering design and testing, supply chain management, quality and manufacturing, customer care, marketing, etc.;
  • Create and maintain reports to monitor and control all project tasks while considering risk assessments, performance to targets, budgets and program schedule;
  • Report out project status to executive leadership in a clear, concise manner to communicate progress toward expected targets;
  • Use defined stage gate process to guide all project activities and milestone signoffs;
  • Leverage program management best practices and continuously improve processes to achieve better planning, visibility, performance, and effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications/Experience and Personal Attributes include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field required;
  • 2 or more years of experience in related field required;
  • Microsoft office applications knowledge and strong skills in project management software such as MS Project;
  • SAP knowledge preferred;
  • Experience in negotiations, communication, and team building;
  • PMP certification through Project Management Institute preferred.
