YMCA of Northern Alberta is seeking a self-motivated Program Manager -Youth Justice, Youth Outreach & Employment to lead several initiatives across Northern Alberta. The successful candidate will provide strong support to the General Manager in spearheading and delivering innovative youth-focused and employment programs in the Edmonton, Red Deer, Grand Prairie and Wood Buffalo regions. They will plan, lead and inspire staff and build relationships with community stakeholders and funders to meet the needs of each unique program.

Responsibilities:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic leadership for assigned youth-related and employment programs.
  • Oversee program planning, implementation and evaluation to meet objectives, drive quality improvement and ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Inspire and develop a team of professionals to consistently deliver excellence.
  • Develop and manage multiple program budgets and financial operations to meet contractual obligations and financial targets.
  • Build and nurture partnerships with key program stakeholders such as schools, youth-serving agencies and other community businesses to drive effective operations.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with all Occupational Health & Safey, work alone, enterprise risk management practices, legal and regulatory requirements and YMCA policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate and promote a personal understanding of and appreciation for the mission, vision, and values and YMCA programs and services.
