Emergency Response: Yes – Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE’s emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the strategy, planning, implementation, and project management for one or more of the following Human Experience Management solution portfolios: Plan to Optimize, Recruit to Onboard, Develop to Grow, Reward to Retain, and/or Manage to Retire. Collaborates with internal/external customers to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into program requirements. Oversees and creates program roadmap based on organizational vision for HR technology.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manages the product backlog for individual programs and prioritizes tasks based on changing requirements.
- Monitors and evaluates program progress at each stage of the development process, goals and metrics, and works with the program team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports.
- Develops and implements overall project plans; including managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely project completion and meet stakeholder expectations. Provides regular progress reports highlighting key performance indicators and risk management.
- Manages and directs consistent implementation of the strategic and tactical activities for selected programs internally and with vendors.
- Prepares business cases and presentations for significant changes in program scope and content.
- Leads, builds and works with cross-functional teams across the company and outside organizations.
- Utilizes Continuous Improvement principles, methods and tools in developing and implementing programs and identifying/improving processes.
- Develops presentations for and makes recommendations to senior management.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, project management, or Industrial and Organization (IO) Psychology specialized in Human Factors with 8 years of professional HR experience, inclusive of 3 years Senior level HRIS or human resources experience in leading projects or programs.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred
- HR experience encompassing a broad range of disciplines, including lead or senior-level responsibilities.
- Knowledge of Scrum and Agile development methodology
- Five years of experience working with SuccessFactors

- Competent in multi-tasking (i.e. the ability to prioritize & manage multiple tasks, issues or projects that may include high visibility initiatives and require innovation, teamwork & planning).
