Description:

THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE

As a Program or Project Manager at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects/programs for the GOps Organization. You’ll be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure project are completed on time and within budget.
In this role, you will directly contribute to the success of LMV.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills and desire to learn
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
  • Effective leading of cross functional project teams
  • Ability to break down barriers and build consensus among project team members
  • Flexibility and agility to manage change effectively

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
  • Project Management experience and certification(s) preferred
  • Develop and provide project plans via established project management tools
  • Excellent MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Highly effective communications and presentation skills (German and English, verbal and written)
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Responsibilities:

  • Commitment and communication of delivery dates for all assigned systems
  • Responsibility for driving gap reductions between planned- and actual milestones
  • Tracking of system readiness and provide early warnings/gaps that may affect commitments
  • Working with Sales Operations, Configuration Support and Engineering to assure design readiness to support overall project timelines, especially Special Customer Requests
  • Coordination with Engineering, Program Management and Pilot operations for new products and options
  • System Lead Time Assessment – working with a cross functional team to assess complexity level of a slotted tool and suggest a proper lead time
  • Change Management – assessing impact of changes on delivery commitments such as late configuration changes and Manufacturing slot changes
  • Escalation and resolution of issues affecting timely delivery of assigned systems and modules from Remote Factories
  • Leadership in shipping acceptance according to required configuration and QA standards
  • Management of all backorders associated with assigned systems
  • Assuring closure and completion of open deviation items, participation and/or leadership of cross functional teams aimed at improving processes related to all of the above (root cause corrective action and process gap awareness)
