Program Reporting Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply well developed analytical skills to perform performance tracking, analysis and reporting of the program against approved benefits, budget and forecast profiles.
• Development, maintenance and support of the financial forecast and performance of the program. Including updates to Melton’s financial, project management and reporting systems.
• Lead research and analysis activities including project level analysis of change initiatives to develop financial reports and graphical presentations for senior management and other sections to inform strategic decision making and business led project governance.
• Adherence to Melton City Council’s Project Management Framework and providing expert advice, highlighting financial risks and direction to Program Director and Project Manager where required.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Relevant Business, Finance or Accounting degree or post-graduate like qualification.
• Direct experience with projects aspects of financial systems & Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools.
• Current membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or CPA.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in the government sector desirable.
