Description:
DESCRIPTION
The Surgical Business Specialist is responsible for all aspects of coordination of multiple business functions for all surgical departments. Responsibilities include processing, verifying, and auditing surgical patient charges; collecting and recording statistical information; and preparing specialized monthly reports for management. Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and hospital/ local laws.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years Business office experience in health care or surgical services, preferably in a hospital setting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Coursework/Training College level course work.
- Bachelor’s Degree Business or health care business.
