Description:

EDUCATION:

Completion of the 1st-year in a post-secondary college or university program in a related field (education, community outreach, or career development, etc.).

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 1 year of recent relevant experience supporting a co-op or experimental education program.

SKILLS:

Effective communication skills to obtain and relay information in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to deal courteously and professionally with people.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Effective organizational skills including setting priorities, multitasking, and working effectively under pressure of high volume.
Ability to pay attention to accuracy and detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Knowledge of equity, diversity and inclusion principles.
Ability to exercise good judgment and take initiative.

Responsibilities:

The Program Support Assistant provides administrative and customer service support for the Co-op Program under the direction of Manager, Employer Engagement.
