Description:
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ progressive administrative or student advising experience in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with curriculum submission process, program planning and scheduling
- Experience with advising learners on courses and program selection
- Experience with event planning and coordination with stakeholders
- Experience scheduling meetings and managing calendars
- Experience compiling and analyzing research-based data from various sources, producing reports, and identifying trends from data to develop solutions and strategies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a team environment
- Proven excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent data management and record keeping skills

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Program Support Officer will provide direct support to the administrative team as well as a comprehensive range of support services to the entire IL team, faculty and students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: administrative, program, financial, human resources, events, marketing, and inter-departmental support. The incumbent also acts as a resource to faculty, students and administrators on IL initiatives and on the application of Humber’s academic policies and procedures. It is expected that the incumbent, therefore, will continue to develop opportunities that directly impact the learning environment. The volume and diversity of faculty and students encountered enhances the customer service requirements of this role.
