The Faculty of Business and Law and the School of Law are seeking to appoint, on a secondment basis, to the post of Programme Area Lead (Law - Professional Courses). The secondment is available on a fixed-term basis until 31 December 2027. You will have a substantive contract (fixed term or permanent) that must not expire before the end date of the secondment period.
As a Programme Area Lead you will work with the School Executive team to help shape and implement strategic priorities in the relevant programme areas. Together with the Programme Area Lead (Law - Academic Courses) you will be responsible for the School’s portfolio of courses. The Programme Area Lead (Law - Professional Courses) role will focus on developing the apprenticeship portfolio and postgraduate taught courses linked to professional qualification. These activities will form approximately 60% of the workload for this role.
This role is a senior member of the School and is key to the University’s strategic vision to engage every student in a life-changing experience.
