Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Delivery Manager to oversee project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role involves managing both client-facing and internal projects, with a focus on technical delivery in the claim management space.
You will lead a team of Project Managers and Business Analysts, acting as the primary contact for key clients to ensure their needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project delivery, from planning to closure, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are
met.
- Act as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and addressing client needs.
- Manage a team of Project Managers and Business Analysts to ensure smooth project
execution.
- Develop and implement project management policies and processes for consistency and
excellence.
- Participate in planning, estimation, and review activities to enhance service delivery and
continuously improve processes.
- Provide project governance, reporting on progress and outcomes to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align project objectives with
company goals.
- Manage project resources, including budgets and timelines, to ensure efficiency.
- Monitor risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables meets both company and client expectations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in project management.
Key Skills/ Qualifications:
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior project management role, with a track record of successfully
delivering complex projects.
- London Insurance Market Experience essential
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide crossfunctional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong
relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in technical project management, preferably in the insurance or claim
management industry.
- High-performance mindset, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment with
multiple competing priorities.
