Serco have an exciting opportunity within our Maritime division for a Programme Planner to join our team based at HMNB Portsmouth on a hybrid basis.
This position is essential to support the strategic planning, execution, and coordination of multiple Projects and Workstreams. It provides vital planning capabilities, enabling the effective monitoring, reporting, and adaptation of project schedules in line with the overall programme strategy. This is a critical role in driving the detailed planning and scheduling efforts for various projects and workstreams within the Maritime DMS-NG programme. The position of Programme Planner involves developing, maintaining, and managing integrated project schedules, ensuring that all activities are aligned with project objectives and timelines to achieve successful programme delivery.

Proven relevant experience working on complex projects and programmes
Proficiency in Microsoft Project for planning and scheduling.
Strong analytical and organisational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Experience with process mapping tools like Microsoft Visio.
Knowledge of reporting tools like Power BI to support data-driven decision-making is desirable.
