Our Project Controls team are recruiting for an experienced Programme Risk Manager to join their team.

Education/ Experience

  • Ideally degree qualified in relevant subject or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Preferably Professional membership of a relevant chartered body.
  • Trained in an appropriate Project management qualificatio

Responsibilities:

As the Programme Risk Manager you will be responsible for the implementation of risk management across the programmes and projects ensuring a culture of risk-based decision-making.

You will will provide a service to a number of projects within 1 or more Programmes for the Amentum E&E (UK) business unit.

  • Provide QSRA & QCRA services to a range of projects, using best practice tools & techniques and produce quality Risk Analysis reports
  • Provide/lead quality risk registers for all lifecycle phases and stages
  • Maintain a high level of underpinning information for all-risks
  • Support the commercial department in the analysis of commercial risks
  • Maintain risk databases and validate data across systems
  • Assist projects to clearly define their objectives and associated risks
  • Maintain delivery of high-quality risk products within schedule
  • Identify risks using applicable risk assessment tools, and best practice tools and techniques
  • Periodically review the risks and risk treatment strategies in order to update, eliminate or add risks and to meet reporting requirements.
  • Document work in the appropriate format consistent with risk management process.
  • Maintain accuracy of risk data communicated to project staff
  • Highlight current or potential risk related issues to project manager
  • Maintain compliance with approved processes, procedures, and systems

Education/ Experience

  • Ideally degree qualified in relevant subject or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Preferably Professional membership of a relevant chartered body.
  • Trained in an appropriate Project management qualification

Proven experience work as a Risk specialist, working within in a project delivery environment ideally in the nuclear sector or a similar highly regulated sector.
