JOB SUMMARY:

The Programmer/Analyst - Enterprise Asset Management contributes to the organization’s work and asset management processes within the context of its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems. The Programmer/Analyst - Enterprise Asset Management focuses on evolution and support of assets, inventory control, job costing, work management and optimization of related processes to support business objectives. The Programmer/Analyst - Enterprise Asset Management collaborates with internal stakeholders and vendor resources to ensure the EAM systems aligns with business needs, enhances operational efficiency, and delivers value to the organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Minimum 3 years hands on experience with an EAM system
Relevant certifications in EAM systems considered an asset.
Strong domain expertise in asset lifecycle management, maintenance planning, work order management, job costing and inventory control
Experience with Workday HCM, Salesforce, Google Workspace considered an asset
Strong computer skills; proficient in the use of office productivity and collaboration tools, preferably Google Workspace
English essential, both oral and written; Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset
This is a management group opportunity and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
Hydro Ottawa offers a Hybrid Work Model. Hybrid work is position specific, the details of which the hybrid model will be discussed with successful candidates.

Responsibilities:

Perform implementation, upgrades, configuration and maintenance of the EAM system to meet business objectives, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
Collaborate with business users to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements for system enhancements and modifications.
Execute test plans to ensure system functionality aligns with requirements and business needs.
Identify and implement opportunities for system optimization, process improvement, and enhanced user experience.
Under the direction of the Supervisor, work with vendor resources to deliver both project scope and support related services ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
Adhere to established IT governance practices including change and release management, cybersecurity, data privacy guidelines and policies.
Investigate and resolve system and process issues which impede desired business outcomes.
Provide training and support to end-users on EAM system functionality, ensuring efficient utilization and adoption.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, evaluate and implement service requests while effectively managing stakeholder expectations and client satisfaction.
Contribute to comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, and user guides.
Interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Perform other related duties as required.
