Description:

We are looking for a Lead Programmer/Analyst to be the technical lead of an application development team, coordinate activities with team members, escalate issues to
manager, ensure proper documentation of processes, follow up on support incidents, and ensure the timely delivery of change requests and project activities for team. This role requires technical expertise in the area that they are the lead for, as well as the ability to closely interact with the business and various IS teams to understand requirements and efficiently implement high quality solutions. Ensure that technical enhancements are successfully implemented.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Knowledge at expert level of current application and system development techniques.
  • Also requires knowledge of relational databases, appropriate programming languages, data structures, associated computer hardware, computer networking, a variety of operating systems and client/server data processing techniques.
  • Ability to demonstrate logic, analytical and verbal and written communication skills, team-oriented work habits, proven interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to different levels of technical experience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Application and/or professional certifications preferred

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer technology or business information management
    Prefer master’s degree - Science Degree

EXPERIENCE

Require 5 years major system design and implementation experience
Prefer Management or project leadership experienc

Responsibilities:

  • Operational lead for technical support team.
  • Reviews support incidents, Implements and controls the configuration and development of systems.
  • Coordinates change order and project activity.
  • Document support processes and educate Support staff, Service Desk, and customers.
  • Updates application and end user workflows and maintains systems.
  • Coordinates activities and information dissemination with manager, other Information Services personnel, users and vendors.
  • Participates in strategic planning and Hospital-wide data planning.
