Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Oldsmar, Florida. This role involves heavy analytics and will require you to work closely with project managers. As the Staff Accountant, you will be expected to utilize your skills in areas such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, and various software including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization.
  • Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications.
  • Prepare reports related to compliance matters to be submitted to organization’s governing bodies.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, query resolutions, and month-end close processes.
  • Work in coordination with project managers to ensure proper financial project tracking.
  • Conduct data analysis and advise senior management on profit-maximizing ideas.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of other workers engaged in financial and payroll record processing.

  • Must possess expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Proficient in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations
  • Strong understanding of General Ledger
  • Ability to prepare Journal Entries
  • Experience with Month End Close procedures
