QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in accouning
Over 3 years of accounting experience preferably in the manufacturing or distribution industry
Proficient in Excel
Experience working in a company specific ERP

Ensure Projects are setup in ERP based on customer PO and adjust for any change orders
Review open jobs with Project Managers and Invoice Projects based on billing milestones defined in customer contracts
Review Project Performance based on actual costs incurred in comparison to budget to ensure appropriate percentage of completion is recognized
Partner with Project Management on a weekly basis to ensure project performance reflects project estimates
Prepare WIP file and revenue recognition accounting entries for month end close in accordance with GAAP
Prepare WIP entries associated to projects for unbilled and deferred revenue for month end close
Submit Customer Invoices to Customer portals and verify they are accepted to ensure payment based on customer terms, investigate circumstances of non-payment, negotiating and escalating issues, expediting payments
