REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field
  • Bilingual, French and English (spoken and written)
  • Certification in project management, logistics, or equivalent (an asset)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a management position

SKILLS

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Experience working with an ERP-type computer system
  • Understanding of basic accounting (billing – inventory – payables)

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION

We are looking for a Project Administration Department Manager who will be responsible for managing the team, establishing and improving processes, and standardizing departmental practices to support the company’s growth.
Reporting to the VP of Finance, your mission will be to guarantee the success and efficiency of the organization’s projects by ensuring that they are planned, executed, and delivered in line with strategic objectives, allocated budgets, and established deadlines. This will enable the company to achieve its business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise the work of project administrators and provide ongoing training
  • Distribute tasks fairly and strategically within the team
  • Setting priorities and planning the work pool
  • Help manage and understand orders
  • Establish and monitor departmental objectives and evaluate their achievement
  • Analyze team performance and establish performance indicators
  • Execute performance evaluations
  • Plan the hiring and training of new department staff
  • Draft, maintain, and improve procedures for the project administration department and ensure their proper application
  • Establish and maintain business relations with other company departments as well as manufacturing and logistics partners
  • Occasional travel to our various offices in Canada
