POSITION OVERVIEW

Our Edmonton Branch is currently seeking a Large Project Administrator to work with multiple Project Managers on multiple projects.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Intermediate computer skills are a must including Microsoft Office suite
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in an administrative role is essential
  • 3 - 5 years of experience working in either construction, restoration, property management/strata or insurance is preferred
  • Project administration experience is an asset
  • Effective time management, detail oriented, and the ability to multitask
  • Skilled at handling a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and adapt to changing situations
  • Customer oriented with exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Works well in both team and independent settings

Working Conditions:

  • Must be flexible to work overtime, evenings, and weekends on occasion.
  • On-call shifts as required

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day support for Project Managers
  • Administration of claims files
  • Data entry and tracking of milestone dates and progress updates in industry software
  • Work with Project Managers to assist in coordination of projects from start to finish including schedule creation and distribution
  • Assist in communication and follow ups between Project Managers and subtrades
  • Assist in communication and follow ups between Project Managers and site crews/supervisors
  • Maintain knowledge of Insurance Company protocols to ensure Service Level Agreements are met
  • Assist in producing, distributing, and maintaining project documents
  • Report creation and general support tasks for Project Managers
  • Work as a team member communicating with Project Managers, Adjusters, Consultants, Subtrades, and Customers

Health and Safety

  • Ensure that self and others adhere to Lydale’s health and safety practices and procedures
  • Ensure good housekeeping is kept to perform work safely and efficiently
  • Understand safety policies and protocols
  • Ensure that self and others on site are wearing all required PPE, when required
