QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extremely strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation skills and fluency in the French language, in addition to the ability to work in English.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate, negotiate and consensus building effectively.
  • Experience in Project Management roles involving Hardware Technology.
  • Proficiency in using office software, including spreadsheets, word processing, presentation and planning tools (MS365 & Wrike).
  • Understanding basic HR processes and employment regulations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of financial record-keeping and bookkeeping principles.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • A passionate commitment to sustainability and reducing global greenhouse gas emissions.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

We are on the hunt for a Project & Business Manager to complement our amazing team. This multi-disciplinary role is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to make a real difference. As a key member of our team, you’ll work closely with our COO and co-founder, playing an instrumental role in making sure we establish and execute on our plans at all levels of the organization.
We’re seeking a lean minded individual who comes from the startup ecosystem in project management and business operations with a background in product developments or manufacturing operations, but also deeply passionate about our mission of reducing global greenhouse gas emissions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project & Supplier Management

Supplier Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to optimize cost savings and supplychain reliability
  • Act as the bridge between our suppliers and engineering team ensuring appropriate supplier selection, timely and accurate Purchase Order issuance and On-Time delivery.

Project Management:

  • Owner of the Project Development plans (not the tasks), including milestone charts and communications ensuring on-time delivery & performance of our micro-Factories. This includes leading our teams and suppliers through recovery planning & execution.
  • Owner of the micro-Factory Bill of Material and mitigation planning to ensure Budget adherence.

Office Management

Operations Management:

  • Responsible for inventory management ensuring accuracy and replenishment according to production need.
  • Assist with selecting and setting up new ERP/MRP systems
  • Assist with Quality assurance
  • Arrange and oversee incoming and outgoing shipments

HR Support:

  • Own the onboarding and offboarding processes and ensure new employees live an amazing onboarding experience.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives and company-wide events.
  • Assist finance team with employee record-keeping, maintaining accurate personnel files, and updating databases.
  • Oversee and actively promote Workplace Health & Safety daily.

Office Management

  • Ensure the office is well-maintained and organized, including managing supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining office policies and procedures.
  • Oversee office safety and security protocols, including emergency preparedness and first- aid supplies.
  • Manage office communication channels, including email distribution lists and internal messaging platforms.
  • Support the executive team with ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate record-keeping and timely reporting.
  • Support the organization’s financial processes and assist with audits when necessary.
