Description:
THE SERVICE & TEAM:
This role is part of Regulatory Services, within the Neighbourhoods Directorate, which brings together a range of the functions of Cornwall Council to help residents to live vibrant and safe lives in a thriving and sustainable community. This secondment opportunity is funded via the Digital Futures Programme.
Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised individual to play a key role in supporting Regulatory Services. This role helps the Service achieve its priorities through project, governance and performance support. You will work closely with the Service Leadership Team (SLT) and have the opportunity to work with other managers across the service and wider council and be involved in a wide range of activities.
You will work with SLT and service managers around various programmes and projects and will ensure high quality governance arrangements are in place and taking forward key actions.
The role-holder will be responsible for preparing and presenting quarterly performance reports, maintaining data across a number of systems, and liaising with managers to support these reviews of performance. You will also coordinate the development of performance measures and targets as part of the Service’s annual planning cycle.
The role can work from an office location or from home, but there is a need to attend meetings in council premises on a regular basis.
This role is a 12-month temporary position available due to the secondment of the existing postholder.
