The Blueprint
The Project Application Specialist is responsible for optimizing construction and project processes through leveraging Autodesk Construction Cloud and providing application training. As an Autodesk Construction Cloud superuser this position enhances process efficiencies to support overall operational strategies.
Note: This role is in office and on-site.
A Glimpse into Your Daily Activities

Autodesk Construction Cloud Management

  • Superuser and administrator of Autodesk Construction Cloud software.
  • Perform detailed analysis of business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
  • Act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems for application incidents.
  • Configuration of application’s functionality for any requirement/enhancement.
  • Collaborates with other internal teams to ensure optimal work processes are followed and strategies are delivered.
  • Support ERP and Autodesk Construction Cloud implementation and maintenance.
  • Report on Autodesk insights that propose solutions to near future challenges.
  • Provide support and expertise after go-live of the initial rollout of projects.
  • Manage Autodesk Construction Cloud new access setup and access removal process.
  • Liaise with Autodesk Construction Cloud on service issues, reported incidents and system enhancements/future roadmap.

Process Management

  • Perform detailed analysis of business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
  • Drive improvement of operational process effectiveness and effectively communicate findings to peers and management.
  • Responsible for process implementation into Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Support change-management process initiatives.
  • Gather, analyze and prioritize business requirements by conducting workshops in co-ordination with cross-function organizations.

Training

  • Provide or lead the end user training with applications.
  • Develop overall Autodesk Construction Cloud training and identify learning outcomes, curriculum, modules, programs (i.e. new hire learning programs, new software launches etc.)
  • Be hands-on application support during future integrations and UAT acceptance testing.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on training needs.

The Architect of Your Success

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as project or construction management is an asset
  • Minimum +5 years’ experience working in project management.
  • Minimum +3 years’ experience working with construction management software (preferably Autodesk Construction Cloud).
  • Excellent facilitation skills: ability to engage diverse audiences and at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct detailed analysis of information, and to create and deliver best solutions.
  • Excellent communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate at the right level for the intended audience using various methods.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to develop relevant information and potential impacts.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Success in this role is defined by the individual’s ability to motivate change with the implementation of Autodesk Construction Cloud Management Software.
  • Continuing to motivate staff to efficiently complete tasks utilizing this tool.
  • To continue to innovate and adapt to employee requests and to create a sense of confidence in this system with our Site Teams, Office Teams and external partners (Trades, Consultants, Partners, Owners)
