Job Description
The Project Associate (PA) for Development & Exchanges assists the Development Division with administrative and directed project-related tasks. The PA will be primarily responsible for providing support for exchanges (such as the International Visitors Leadership Program), and Global Health Security programs. The position will support administrative aspects of projects for funders including the US Department of State (DOS), the National Institutes of Health, and potential new donors. The PA will support administrative and project tasks on other D&E activities. This position is based in CRDF Global’s Arlington, VA office.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • College degree or relevant experience required
  • 0-2 years of work experience in a related field
  • Exceptional organizational skills/attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals from varied backgrounds
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • US work authorization

Preferred:

  • Experience working with USG
  • Project management interest and experience

Salary & Benefits: The base pay range for this position is $45,000 to $ 54,000. The determination of salaries in this job classification depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant candidate experience, job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills. In addition, we have a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; 403(b) retirement savings plan; unlimited paid time off; education reimbursement; student loan paydown and an in-network deductible reimbursement through the Difference Card that pays up to $10,000 depending on level of coverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports research, planning and organizational tasks for in-person, hybrid and virtual site visits, conferences, meetings, workshops, grant competitions, exchanges and other events.
  • Drafts reports and correspondence for funders, participants and subject matter experts.
  • Oversees document and information management to ensure records and databases, including electronic and physical files, are current and complete.
  • Contributes to growth and proposal development efforts.
  • May travel within the US and internationally.
  • Supports Development initiatives, other programs and other staff, as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
