REQUIREMENTS

  • Educational Background : A degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture.
  • Experience : Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience with proficiency in design and project management.
  • Leadership : Experience leading build projects from initiation to closure.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning : Define the project’s goals, objectives, and scope, creating a detailed project plan outlining tasks, timelines, and required resources.
  • Communication : Demonstrate excellent communication skills to convey information effectively across offices and project teams.
  • Adaptability and Problem Solving : Manage internal and external stakeholders, handle risks and issues, and monitor project progress to ensure it stays on track.
  • Timeline Management : Develop an accurate timeline for project completion to ensure tasks are finished within the assigned deadlines.
  • Issue Anticipation : Proactively anticipate potential delays and inform the team of any changes.
  • Milestone Deliverables : Oversee project milestone deliverables and obtain necessary sign-offs.
  • Project Management : Manage project scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, focusing on overall project success.
  • Budget Management : Oversee the project budget.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the Project Director to manage project and design processes, ensuring timely delivery of project deadlines.
  • Project Lifecycle : Ensure projects remain on track at every stage of the lifecycle, managing change requests and addressing issues promptly to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Design and Constructability : Demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between design and constructability.
  • Design Excellence : Contribute to firm-wide design excellence and problem-solving.
  • Team Productivity : Provide innovative ideas to enhance team productivity.
  • Project Filing : Ensure project filing complies with office-wide standard systems.
  • Sustainable Design : Incorporate integrated sustainable design solutions into projects.
  • Client Relationships : Participate in managing client relationships and represent the company brand in meetings with clients and other consultants.
  • Meetings : Attend presentations and meetings with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
  • Compliance : Understand company agreements, contracts, and deliverables, ensuring company standards for project management are met.
  • Professional Engagement : Participate in professional organizations and events to promote the firm and its services, sometimes outside of normal business hours.
  • Travel : Travel internationally for project meetings, site visits, and business development.
  • Additional Duties : Perform any other duties assigned by the team leader.
