Department Overview
Our Audit and Assurance service line is transforming the way in which we audit, through the adoption of analytics, automation and AI, and we are on looking for a Project Co-ordinator to play a critical role in our journey. You will be part of the team that designs, builds and deploys cutting-edge solutions to bring insights to the fingertips of our audit teams and clients. This position will give you exposure to some exciting industries such as Retail, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Construction, Telecommunication and Financial Services whilst also allowing you to collaborate with clients both locally and globally. We are looking for passionate individuals, who are self-motivated, capable of using their own initiative and pride themselves on delivering a world class service to all our colleagues and clients.
Main responsibilities:
- Managing the pipeline of client ‘Digital Audit’ deliverables for active or future audit engagements, with responsibilities ranging from engaging internal teams or clients to booking technical resources to complete each work step.
- Helping create and manage workplans for the lifecycle of any product development projects, setting quality and performance standards and actively remediating any risks.
- Leading a daily stand up for all client and product development work, ensuring progress is on track and any bottlenecks communicated to impacted stakeholders.
- Constantly challenging the status quo, bringing fresh insight into how to do things better.
- Measuring digital audit adoption and business impact as well as other operations work will be performed where time permits.
Skills and attributes:
Soft skills required to succeed in the role include:
- A proven self-starter that is proactive in setting up and managing our pipeline of client and development work.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and being able to work closely with technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong organisational skills, methodical, with strong attention to detail.
- A creative mindset, with the ability to draw up new approaches to enable the delivery of competing priorities, for example.
Technical skills include:
- Hands on experience with project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello or Teamwork, for example.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exposure to technical teams using ETL tools such as Alteryx or Knime, BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or ThoughtSpot and programming languages such as SQL, R or Python would be preferred but not mandatory.
- Scrum master experience and working within agile. Sprint methodology would be an advantage.
