THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree qualification in communications, public relations, marketing or significant experience in a similar role.
  • At least five years’ experience working at project site level preferably on major civil construction.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • General Construction Induction (White) card.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current C-Class Driver’s License.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, manage and update the Program Internal Communications Plan. Implement the plan components and support the Program Leadership Team.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of internal communication channels and deliverables.
  • Manage the Program SharePoint, liaising with various departments to ensure consistent and appropriate sharing of information and messaging.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify communication needs and support Program milestones.
  • Support preparation, coordinate, review and manage all Program wide internal communications, including; newsletters, ad hoc communications, reports, communications to executive leadership, the program team, and Sydney Water.
