PROJECT CONTROLLER – KILKENNY
Position Details
We’re a distinguished leader in Telecommunications technology, with a proven track record of driving the advancement of gigabit networks.
As a Project Controller, you’ll play a vital role in our mission to build future-proof networks that empower our clients, businesses, and communities alike.
You will be a part of our dynamic PMO team, the successful candidate will collaborate with our Senior Project Manager to oversee our clients ‘Fibre to the Home’ projects. They will handle the project controls, and integration of teams involved in the project and offering appropriate advice to resolve issues as they arise. They will assist in monitoring and managing the project programme and cost plan, aiming to minimize the impact of any project variations.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- 2+ years in a similar position
- Previous experience of managing cross functional teams and subcontractors.
- Flexible and adaptable to work challenges and open to learn and develop skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work to a high standard
- A high standard of written and spoken English.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Full drivers’ licence.
- Proficient in Microsoft software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain relationships with key project stakeholders within the client’s organisation.
- Be key stakeholder in continuously monitoring the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats of each project.
- Forecast, plan, track and manage the project(s), ensuring delivery is on schedule and within budget as agreed with the clients and Entegro.
- Work with teams to understand KPI’s and ensure that resource is fully utilised.
- Work with HSEQ and Project Teams to ensure that all Health & Safety laws & regulations and quality processes are in place and adhered to on all projects.
- Ensure Client & Sub-contractors POs are in place to cover works scheduled.
- Manage budget, track revenue and costs and generate necessary reports. Work with Commercial Team to ensure submittals and client approvals are aligned with company requirements.
- Ensure that Direct Labour staff and sub-contractors are aware of their respective contract key deliverables and requirements prior to planned works commencing.
- Ensure stores management of project materials is in place for each project and executed with consistency and efficiency.
- Work with Field Operations and Logistics Dept. to ensure that Field, fleet, and logistic requirements are met and adequately managed.
- Issue scheduled reports to clients and Entegro management.
