Description:

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/Finance or Commercial Engineer.
  • At least 5 years of post-graduate experience within the energy or utility industry.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Due diligence, IFRS, Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Analysis is essential.
  • Keen to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities and ensure that work is completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Multinational experience and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across diverse regions and cultures, including within virtual teams.
  • English

Responsibilities:

Do you want to be part of an exciting journey, using your Finance & Accounting skills to support the renewable energy transition? Look no further, we have it all!
You will be part of the Finance team and will play an important role in the accounting and reporting activities of the group. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Project Controller will continue to develop and improve the day-to-day operations, and work with accountants in the local entities around the world. They will be responsible for month-end and year-end closing activities: day to day accounting, month-end accruals, account reconciliations, invoicing, trend analysis, forecasts, cash flows preparation of local statutory accounts.
The Project Controller will be responsible for coordinating local SPV, HoldCo and Service Co accounting processes, in coordination with the outsourced accounting provider. They will also collaborate for local audit work for any local statutory audit requirements and Group audit review, ensuring tax compliance.
