Balfour Beatty is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Controls Manager for our exciting new NZT Project based in the Teesside (Northeast).

What you’ll be doing
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as a project controls manager within a portfolio environment.
- Strong client-facing experience, with a solid understanding of budgeting and earned value management across the project lifecycle.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Expertise in facilitating risk review meetings and conducting quantitative schedule risk assessments using primavera risk analysis.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing cost value reports and managing change, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Advanced skills in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
- Background in energy or process Industries.
- Hands-on experience with implementing project control systems.
- Experience working on-site in a multi-discipline engineering environment.

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and administer the planning and controls of the NZT Project within our Energy Transition portfolio.
- Champion a culture of safety, ensuring a zero harm environment.
- Develop and implement project controls procedures while providing training and support to your team.
- Prepare and deliver management reports for both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Facilitate cost and value report meetings, performance dashboards, and risk review meetings specifically for the Project.
- Ensure timely and quality submissions of performance measurement sheets and dashboard reports.
- Analyse earned value data to monitor project performance against budgets.
- Establish and maintain a quantity tracking system and prepare detailed quantity unit rate reports.
- Drive continuous improvement through the identification and implementation of process enhancements.
