Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join our Controls & Performance team in London, leading major programmes. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale real estate projects through effective project controls and PMO best practices.

  • Develop and implement project control systems and processes for major real estate programmes
  • Monitor and analyze project performance, including schedule, cost, and resource utilization
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed
  • Lead the development of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
  • Implement and maintain PMO best practices across all major programmes
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project control team members
  • Continuously improve project control methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required; PRINCE2 certification preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project controls management, preferably in the real estate or construction industry
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Advanced scheduling and resource allocation capabilities
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience in stakeholder management
  • In-depth understanding of real estate development and construction processes
  • Expertise in project controls methodologies and PMO best practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members
