Project Controls Manager / PMO Manager
Are you an experienced professional in project controls and PMO with a passion for managing teams and driving project success?

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Project Controls/PMO Manager to join our team and lead our project controls efforts on projects within Defence/and or Infrastructure.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive infrastructure engineering & design experience, ideally in the Defence sector.
  • Demonstrable experience leading multidisciplined engineering teams with a focus on people management.
  • Demonstrable experience in working under a Defence Design Services Contract and/or Managing Contract.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills both internal and external.
  • Strong scope awareness in a complex project environment.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and develop project controls and PMO teams responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, scheduling, doc control and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure team members are aligned with project goals and deliverables, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes efficiency and innovation.
  • Develop and implement robust controls and reporting systems that provide accurate and timely insights into project status.
  • Use data-driven forecasting techniques to predict project outcomes, identify potential risks, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Oversee the quality and integrity of project data, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets, supporting strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Potential to manage document control processes, ensuring proper documentation of project milestones and changes. Additionally, oversee estimators in developing accurate project cost estimates, contributing to the overall financial planning and control.
