Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is based out of Mississauga, ON.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • University Degree in relevant field of study plus 4 (four) years of experience in project/program management, including on large international airport projects or equivalent infrastructure programs.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven expertise in project management and relevant technical domains to effectively deliver complex projects.
  • Extensive experience in leading teams to execute complex projects and programs successfully.
  • Strong technical proficiency across all phases of project management, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance, particularly for large-scale programs or projects.
  • Technical expertise complemented by an ability to analyze and synthesize complex technical information, tailoring communication to meet the needs of specific stakeholder groups, and identifying key engagement and communication opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing stakeholder relationships and providing insightful reporting to support effective decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides specialized project management expertise to coordinate organizational interfaces and requirements.
  • Collaborates closely with departments to minimize impacts and leverage opportunities from the Program, ensuring departmental needs are met.
  • Synthesizes and translates technical information on project milestones and core programs for specific business units, identifying opportunities for key stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Engages with various internal and external stakeholders to secure necessary consultations and approvals.
  • Works with the broader program team to coordinate reviews, inspections, and approvals as required.
  • Delivers updates and reports through the Delivery Cabinet and Interface Management Group to effectively communicate interface risks and opportunities.
