REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of post-secondary education with a diploma or degree related to Construction Management, Estimating, Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
- Good understanding of civil earthworks and surface works including site grading, gravel, structural excavation, concrete, asphalt, geotextile and geomembrane products.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills including efficient time management and detailed record keeping.
- Ability to work outside of Edmonton on projects throughout Alberta. Occasional travel to client’s offices may be required.

- A valid Driver’s License with evidence of safe driving record.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in residential, commercial or industrial sectors and specifically in civil construction and/or capital projects. Direct earthwork experience is preferred.
- Direct experience in Project Coordination including estimates, Project Schedules, three week look ahead schedules, daily reporting, procurement of materials/subcontractors, coordination with field crews, contract administration, and progress payments.
- Direct experience with procurement processes used by major clients in the general contracting industry including types of bid delivery, project specifications, contract procedures, terms and conditions, etc

Pay: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Coordinator (Civil) at Central Construction Group Ltd in Edmonton, AB. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating civil construction projects, working with the Project Management team, liaising with clients and contractors, preparing project schedules, managing budgets, and ensuring project compliance with regulations and safety standards.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate and help develop project estimates including quantity take-off, subcontractor pricing, material pricing, estimate schedules, and final pricing.
- Complete project proposals including a Construction Execution Plan, Qualifications, and other estimate specific requirements.
- Develop and update Project schedules including a three week look ahead.
- Daily reporting of field activities to Management and Clients.
- Procurement of major materials/subcontractors.
- Coordination of field activities including people and equipment with Management team.
- Contract management and change management.
- Foster strong relationships with Clients to develop long term and future projects.
- Develop strategies to pursue major industrial projects throughout Alberta.
- Build upon Centrals reputation as a high quality and safe civil construction company.
- Continuously look for ways to improve and innovate Centrals construction services.
