Central Operations’ purpose is “To help our clients and fellow navigators reach their goals by improving, automating, offloading, and managing technology to achieve our shared success.” It is to this end that CompassMSP is creating a Project Coordinator role & function within Central Operations, to better support and empower our technical teams to execute and deliver.

SUMMARY:

As a Project Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind our project management team, ensuring smooth and efficient execution. Your key responsibilities include coordinating resources, scheduling tasks and meetings, validating procurement, tracking project status, managing risks, and ensuring quality assurance. You will play a crucial role in maintaining timelines, mitigating risks, and facilitating clear communication among stakeholders, driving project success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Resource Coordination: Efficiently allocate and manage resources for project tasks.
  • Schedule Mastery: Organize and schedule project tasks, meetings, and team deployments, including both the Deployment Team and Central Services team.
  • Procurement Accuracy: Ensure ordered equipment matches delivered items, maintaining procurement accuracy.
  • Project Tracking: Collect and analyze project status reports, swiftly identifying any off-track elements.
  • Deadline Vigilance: Monitor and ensure project tasks are completed on time, proactively identifying potential delays.
  • Risk Management: Assist in identifying scope creep and timeline issues, developing and implementing mitigation plans, and following up with risk owners.
  • Change Management: Support the seamless execution of the change management process.
  • Risk Escalation: Communicate and escalate risks to the Project Manager as necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Validate the quality of project deliverables, ensuring high standards are met.
  • The Organizer: Act as the project manager’s right-hand person, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by:
  • Task Management: Oversee tasks, schedules, and resources to keep the project on track.
  • Communication and Coordination: Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment.
  • Meetings and Documentation: Organize meetings, maintain project documentation, and track actions to integrate into the project plan.
  • Risk Management: Assist with risk identification and mitigation efforts.
